Falafel is a popular Middle eastern dish that is deep fried balls typically made with chickpeas, herbs and spices.
Falafel is probably one of my favorite plant-based/vegan "comfort" foods and it always makes for a tasty meal.
Goes great with salads, pitta breads, sweet potato fries and and is a good source of protein and dietary fiber also, along with folate.
