This week’s health food product review and up this time we have the Organic Ginseng Imperial Dynasty Tonic by Ortis.
Ortis Ginseng Imperial Dynasty is a tonic made from whole roots of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer enriched with Royal Jelly.
Containing 40mg of ginsenosides per dose, guaranteeing an adaptogenic effect. Promotes alertness, vitality and helps promote support for symptoms of fatigue.
Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng Meyer, Araliaceae) is traditionally used as an important herbal medicine in Far East Asia.
As past readers of my blog will likely already know, I am a massive fan of adaptogen herbs such as Ginseng and adaptogenic herbs remain one of my favorite types of medicinal herbs.
Adaptogen herbs such as Panax Ginseng are very unique in that they help to increase the bodies resistance to all types of stress, whilst having a normalizing effect on the body as a whole, helping to modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, balannce endocrine/stress hormones such as cortisol, increase energy and protecting against stress.
Out of all the various adaptogenic herbs, ginseng is probably the most well-known of them all and the most commonly consumed by the general public.

This was my first time trying the Organic Ginseng Imperial Dynasty Tonic from Ortis and I am really impressed with the supplement overall.
You feel an almost immediate mild boost of energy and well-being, which is the sign of quality Ginseng and the typical adaptogenic/adrenal gland support effect.
The addition of 500mg of Royal Jelly per serving is also a great bonus anti-aging superfood and I suspect contributes alot to the great energy boosting effect. Royal Jelly helps to boost energy, increase DHEA and is traditionally said to promote longevity and possess and “anti-aging” effect.
I purchased the Ortis Organic Ginseng Imperial Dynasty Tonic locally from Holland and Barrett health food store here in the United Kingdom.
I have tried quite a few of the various ginseng supplements that Holland and Barrett stock and the Organic Ginseng Dynasty Imperial Tonic is by far the best I have sampled so far.
The tonic is easy to dose and comes with a small 12ml cup. The tonic syrup has a honey type consistency and you can taste the mild hints of ginseng root through the honey/royal jelly flavour.
I have been taking the Organic Ginseng Imperial Dynasty Tonic for a few months now and intend to keep taking it as a daily tonic for the foreseeable future due to the excellent health benefits I have experienced so far, most notably the energy boost and adrenal gland support.
Overall I would definitely recommend our readers who are interested in a quality Panax Ginseng/Royal Jelly based tonic to check out the products from Ortis.
